Lovely lice

My first woodlice recorded today. This lovely pair of Shiny Woodlice below and a small pink one, Common Pygmy Woodlouse. Aren't they pretty? The little guy (or girl, probably!) is only 2.5mm long.

Pygmy Woodlouse facts:
It's the most abundant terrestrial isopod in the UK.
It can reproduce sexually or by parthenogenesis.
Number of males in the population decreases as you go north, with males in Scotland extremely rare.
