Diary 1-7 Jan, 2014

Lots of rain means the water is high, with some of the areas around the small pond unpassable. Not many birds on the pond, but a small selection of Mute Swan, Mallard, Teal, Wigeon, Tufty, Coot and Moorhen, with a Gadwall the "highlight". Fieldfares were once again around the cottage/field area.
